Steel for battery shell

Baosteel steel for battery shell (BDCK) is designed for coined alkaline battery or rechargeable battery, which is applicable to high-speed and deep drawing battery shells via thinning and stretching processes

Features:

(1) Good stamping formability.
(2) High dimensional accuracy. The thickness tolerance of pitted surface case steel is ±0.01mm, and the micro-negative tolerance of shiny surface shell steel is between -0.007mm and +0.003mm, which can meet customers’ demand.
(3) High surface quality. Characteristic of high purity steel can reduce the “blowholes” defect caused by materials; the inner quality of good materials can reduce the “snowflake” defect caused by materials; high-level quality control of surface can reduce the risk of pressing.
